Why Arabic4Quran?

My name is Hannah. When I converted to Islam, some years ago, one of my first wish was to understand the Quran in its original language.

So I enrolled to one course after the other, onsite and online. I first studied the Arabic alphabet, then the traditional books made for foreigners like the Madinah books or Get way to Arabic. I also completed a Diploma of Arabic and Islamic Studies with Cambridge Islamic College.

Now, alhamdullillah, I can understand most of the words of the Quran. But I realised that I could have reached my goal in an easier and quicker way.

I spent hours learning complex grammar concepts, irrelevant vocabulary, trying to speak and write Arabic while I didn't need it in order to achieve my goal which was to understand the basic meaning of the Quran.

If only I had learn the words mostly used in the Quran, learn the necessary grammar along the way without having to dive in it and get lost, I could have reached my goal in an easier way.

That is why I decided to put this short course together, to help you understand in a quicker and easier way the simple verses of the Quran. In a short amount of time you will learn the vocabulary you need, you will gain confidence in reading and start understanding simple verses of the Quran ; you will prioritise learning what is relevant and avoid loosing yourself in the details or complexity of the Arabic language.

Arabic4Quran focuses on teaching the relevant vocabulary for the Quran in a meaningful way, while teaching simple grammatical concepts along the way.
